Treasure Island Community Skate Park / Texas Beach

Oliver's Grade - B

Pros | I like Texas Beach because you can do different tricks, there's a skateboarding dog there named Nacho, locals were nice, and I like the location because it's close to our house.

Cons | It's a tight space, you have to wait your turn a lot (it was busy), look out for the graffiti which has the "f word" a lot. It was bumpy (some large cracks).

Dad's Review | Texas Beach Skate Park is a hidden treasure to the Richmond skate scene. A park built by skateboarders with the approval from the city. Its layout while being tight, has something for everyone and all skill levels. It was fairly clean and little to no litter which was nice to see. The local skaters had some amazing skills and were very friendly to the groms coming and jumping in line. Some great graffiti artwork by @thenightowl and other local artists. With some great transitions and also a wall path around a tree. Bring your water bottle since there aren't any public amenities near by.
